Borderlands 4_03

Coinciding with its recent trailer for Borderlands 4, Gearbox Entertainment has confirmed the worldwide release timings for the looter shooter. It launches on September 11th at 9 AM PT, which translates to noon ET, 5 PM BST, and so on. Those in Singapore, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand will thus gain access on September 12th, in their respective local times.

Borderlands 4 follows four new Vault Hunters on Kairos as they struggle to defeat the Timekeeper, the de facto ruler of the planet. While working with the Crimson Resistance and other factions is key, there’s also the pursuit of loot. Promising that it improves on Borderlands 3 in “every way,” players can pursue main missions in just about any order, partake in optional activities, and much more to become stronger.

The action doesn’t end with the campaign as a robust end-game unfolds in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, offering Specializations, set bonuses called Firmware, and more. Thus far, it looks fun, and there’s even more to look forward to post-launch.

Borderlands 4 will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC at launch, with Nintendo Switch 2 owners having to wait until October 3rd.
