Less than a week after launch, FromSoftware’s Elden Ring Nightreign has crossed 3.5 million in physical shipments and digital sales worldwide. It was released on May 30th, with over two million shipments and digital sales in the same day.
The developer thanked fans for their passion but also teased that the Night is “far from over.” Alongside the previously announced DLC coming later this year, this month will see the arrival of enhanced versions of the Nightlords. It also confirmed that Duo Expeditions are coming at a “later date.”
Of course, this doesn’t mean the title is suddenly live service, but if Elden Ring is any indication, FromSoftware intends to support it with new content, balance adjustments, and more. How long remains to be seen.
Elden Ring Nightreign is available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. Check out our review – we gave it an eight out of ten and praised the gameplay loop and presentation, though there were some issues with solo play and crashes.
Thankfully, those looking to go lone wolf can look forward to a smoother experience courtesy of the latest patch. It increased the Runes earned and added the ability to revive once during night boss battles. Check out the full patch notes and stay tuned for further updates.
