Microsoft’s Great Multiplatforming™ continues. The company announced in January that Forza Horizon 5 would be coming to PS5 sometime this Spring, and now a specific release date has been announced for the port. The acclaimed open world title launches for Sony’s console on April 29. Check out its release date announcement trailer below.
Developer Playground Games has also revealed that on PS5, Forza Horizon 5 will feature a 60 FPS Performance Mode and a 30 FPS Quality Mode, while PS5 Pro enhancements have also been confirmed. Specifically, on the more powerful console, Quality Mode will feature ray traced reflections in races and free roam, while Performance Mode will tout “increased visual fidelity”.

Forza Horizon 5 is currently available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. Leaks have claimed its also Nintendo Switch 2-bound. As of July last year, the game had crossed 40 million players.
