Silent Hill 2’s incredible 2024 remake was one of several titles that pledged early support for the PS5 Pro upon the console’s launch last year- though it didn’t quite pan out perfectly. Though the survival horror remake did receive some enhancements on Sony’s more powerful console, its PS5 Pro update also brought with it a host of technical issues. Patches were released to address some of those issues, but many still persisted, with Konami and developer Bloober Team promising further patches and fixes.
Updates have dried up since then, however, prompting some to wonder whether those fixes are still on the way. In a statement to Eurogamer, Bloober Team has confirmed that they are indeed. The developer says it is working with Konami on “a solution” and will have more information to share… at some point.
“We’re working with the publisher on a solution and will share more details as soon as we have them,” the developer said when asked about a PS5 Pro patch for Silent Hill 2.
