Focus Entertainment has announced a new milestone for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. It’s reached seven million players since launching in September 2024, up from the six million-plus announced last January.
Available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, Space Marine 2 is the long-awaited sequel to Relic Entertainment’s classic and follows Captain Titus once more. He leads an Ultramarine squad, this time against the Tyranids and Chaos, including Rubric Marines.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 received extensive acclaim at launch, with its engine capable of animating thousands of enemies on-screen at once. It received extensive support over the past several months, including new Operations, enemy types, weapons, and more.
The next major update goes live on June 26th, adding Siege Mode, a Horde-like where players battle solo or in co-op against waves of increasingly challenging enemies. You can try it out now on PC via the Public Test Server. Additional content (and a sequel) is in development, so stay tuned for more updates.
