Firewalk Studios has released a new episode for Concord’s Freegunner Adventures, an animated series of shorts highlighting the cast on different missions. The latest is more about the aftermath of a mission, where Emari, Bazz, and Vale must deliver an item. Things quickly fall apart when discrimination rears its ugly head. Check it out below.
It provides additional context on Emari, a Scrapper whose kind seemingly isn’t welcome in certain parts of the galaxy, though she notes that they’re honorable above all else. Whether we’ll learn more about that in-game or not through the weekly cinematic vignettes or Galactic Guide remains to be seen.
Concord launches on August 23rd for PS5 and PC, with 16 playable Freegunners, 12 maps and six modes. There won’t be a battle pass (at least initially), with Firewalk touting “hundreds” of unlockable customization items and several Freegunner Variants to unlock. Its post-launch plans have yet to be detailed, so stay tuned for more updates.
