Despite a rough launch and a “Mixed” reception on Steam, Bellring Games’ Mistfall Hunter has achieved a pretty decent milestone of over 500,000 players. That’s presumably across all platforms, though keep in mind that the PvEvP Souls-like extraction title is available on Game Pass. Even then, it’s achieved a respectable peak concurrent player count of 44,472 in the past 24 hours.
To celebrate the occasion, the development team is sending out rewards for all players. You get 500 Soul Coins, one Ashen Cipher and one Abyssal Cipher upon logging in before September 1st. A Pip’s Rare Pouch Voucher is also included, but it’s only valid for three days.
While Bellring Games promises to address various issues this week, including stability problems, with a new client update, players can also expect new content. For instance, you can battle the Mist Lord in Einherjar Mode for a higher chance at Holy Weapons and Forging Materials. Dried Flower Knot, used to access the encounter, will also start dropping.
Stay tuned for more details when the patch notes go live (and perhaps an update on a proper Solos mode). Mistfall Hunter is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. You can check out our feature here for more details.
