Developer Angel Matrix and publisher Annapurna Interactive announced last December that their acclaimed speedrunning first-person shooter Neon White would finally be coming to Xbox consoles in 2024, while earlier this month, the game was handed a July launch date for Microsoft’s consoles. Now, it’s available, with a launch trailer release to commemorate its newest milestone. Check it out below.
Neon White is designed first and foremost around speedrunning. Players play as Neons, who compete in deadly competitions against each other, with players’ goal being to set record time in its bite-sized levels and missions, while also engaging with its slick combat, fast traversal, and the unique Soul Cards mechanic.
Neon White originally launched a little over a couple of years ago, in June 2022, following which it has released for several platforms, with Xbox being the latest. In addition to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, it is also available on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
