We have another Curious Case trailer from the makers of Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and this one’s a doozy. It features a duo of Genma who’ve made the ancient Kennin-Ji Temple their personal playground. We don’t suppose anyone has come close to routing them from that stronghold, considering how they give even Musashi a run for his money with some insane combos and individual attacks.
Ifuu and Burai are names we suspect a lot of us will remember with a slight smile and a distinct frown as we think of the many pummelings they dish out before we finally manage to take them down. They’ll definitely force you to try out all the great combat mechanics we’ve praised in our review, and they were certainly among the more memorable fights we took on during our time with it.
We can’t wait to see players collectively bemoan their fearsome power once you get your turn at facing them when this one comes out on September 4th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
