Elden Ring Nightreign Adds Duo Expeditions on July 30th
About two months after launch, FromSoftware’s Elden Ring Nightreign will finally implement an option for two-player co-op. Duo Expeditions become available on July 30th, one day before the arrival of the newest Everdark Sovereigns.
Nightreign launched with only two queuing options – solo and three players. Though you could invite a friend, matchmaking would automatically assign a third player. That will no longer occur with Duo Expeditions, which should hopefully mean tighter coordination.
Of course, that’s not all, as the same update will contain new quality of life improvements, including more filtering options for the Relic inventory. You’ll be able to filter between different sizes, attributes, starting Armaments, and even those specific to certain characters. It’s also possible to favorite certain Relics.
Stay tuned for more details when patch 1.02 goes live. Elden Ring Nightreign is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. It’s shipped over five million copies since its launch. Additional DLC, which seemingly adds new bosses and playable characters, arrives later this year.
