Hollow Knight: Silksong Costs $19.99 on PC and Nintendo Switch – Rumor

As the wait for Hollow Knight: Silksong continues, there have been several guesses about its price, especially given the long development period. However, GameStop would subsequently list the Nintendo Switch version for $19.99 (which has since been removed).

Team Cherry didn’t confirm or deny the pricing, but leaker billbil-kun reported on Dealabs that it’s legitimate. Not only that, but it’s the price for the Steam version, which could mean the same pricing on all platforms in the United States. Those in Europe will only have to pay €19.50.

On the one hand, it’s a minor increase over Hollow Knight, which launched for $15. Given the latter’s length, free updates and critically acclaimed status, many felt that it was worth far more than the asking price. Whether the sequel follows in the same vein, especially since Team Cherry said its world is “as big or bigger” than the first game, remains to be seen.

Alongside Nintendo Switch and PC, Hollow Knight: Silksong launches on September 4th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2. It will also be available on day one for Game Pass.
