Guilty Gear Strive Starter Guide Details Moveset for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners’ Lucy
Arc System Works is closing out Season 4 of Guilty Gear Strive in a big way with the arrival of Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Though a skilled Netrunner, her combat prowess is well-documented, and in a new Starter Guide video, the developer reveals how this translates into the world of Guilty Gear.
First up is her Monowire, which can combo into different slashes or charge up for a launching attack. Charged attacks also inflict Short Nerve Circuit, causing follow-up slashes to briefly lock an opponent down. Unity is a ranged handgun attack, but the most interesting ability is Quickhack. Costing 50 percent tension, it allows for deploying debuffs.
You could make Lucy a harder target to detect, pacify the opponent to reduce their Tension Gauge gain, and even restore her health with each hit. While you can stack multiple Quickhacks, each has a RAM cost, so choose wisely.
Lucy debuts in Guilty Gear Strive on August 21st for $6.99 standalone and with Season Pass 4. As for the future, Arc System Works will release Version 2.00 for the fighter next year, adding two new characters and other features.
